About the Role

Change Hospitality is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Culinary Director to lead our culinary team and drive the success of our restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing culinary strategies that align with our company's vision and values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Culinary Leadership
    • Develop and implement culinary menus, recipes, and cooking techniques that meet our high standards of quality and consistency.
    • Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure seamless execution of culinary operations.
    • Collaborate with our culinary team to create new and innovative menu items that drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Ensure that all kitchen operations are running efficiently and effectively, with a focus on quality, safety, and sanitation.
    • Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve kitchen productivity and reduce waste.
    • Monitor and control kitchen expenses to ensure profitability.
  • Team Development
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of chefs and kitchen staff.
    • Provide coaching and mentoring to help team members achieve their career goals and improve their skills.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
  • Customer Satisfaction
    • Work closely with our front-of-house team to ensure that customer expectations are met and exceeded.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Monitor and respond to customer feedback to ensure that we are meeting our high standards of quality and service.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior culinary leadership role, preferably in a high-volume, high-end restaurant or hotel.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing culinary strategies that drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of chefs and kitchen staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to delivering high-quality food and service.
