Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Product Safety Specialist to join our team at Innovate, a leading company in the field of Mobile Robotics systems. As a Product Safety Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our products, working closely with our design, engineering, and customer teams.
About the Role
This is a senior-level position that requires a strong background in safety regulations, standards, and best practices. You will be responsible for:
- Conducting risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety risks associated with our products
- Developing and implementing safety protocols and procedures to mitigate these risks
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure safety considerations are integrated into product design and development
- Providing safety training and guidance to employees and customers
- Staying up-to-date with changing safety regulations and standards, and ensuring our products comply with these requirements
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in safety regulations, standards, and best practices
- Experience in heavy industrial automation or warehouse automation environments
- Certifications such as Certified Machinery Safety Expert (CMSE), NEBOSH, and IOSH
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
