Job Title: Clinical Director for Mental Health

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our team as a Clinical Director for Mental Health. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage our physiotherapy services, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care to individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the physiotherapy team, providing clinical leadership and guidance to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Develop and implement physiotherapy services that meet the needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care pathways and effective communication.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practice in physiotherapy.
  • Manage and coordinate community learning disability physiotherapy services across Nottinghamshire.
Requirements:
  • Proven clinical, leadership, and managerial skills to shape and drive specialist physiotherapy delivery.
  • A collaborative approach engaging team members and others.
  • An aptitude to promote and maintain high standards of care through excellent communication, motivation, supervision, and support to develop team members.
  • The ability to provide professional and specialist advice to contribute to service development and implementation ensuring a needs-led physiotherapy service based on best practice.
  • Be able to take part in the on-call rota for the unit.
