Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Mental Health Transport Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a professional and caring service to patients while in our care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Transport vulnerable service users as part of a team, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Support the care of patients during assessments in line with the Mental Health Act.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling techniques.
  • Participate in staff development programs and regular performance reviews to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives and maintain high standards of customer service.
Requirements
  • Valid UK manual driving license with a minimum of 1 year's driving experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of national geography and ability to navigate unfamiliar areas.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts and weekends.
