Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team at GBA5 EntServ UK Limited. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resolve desktop software and hardware incidents and service requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide first-class customer service and maintain a high level of service delivery.
  • Adhere to technical standards and service delivery processes to ensure cost-effective and efficient service delivery.
  • Provide 1st Line Support via the on-site Tech Bar and handle 2nd Line incident tickets.
  • Assist with software installation and deployment, as well as hardware installation and upgrade.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 Operating Systems and legacy OS deployment, configuration, and support.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Cisco AnyConnect VPN.
  • Proven software and hardware troubleshooting skills.
  • Good written communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team or independently.
Desirable Skills:
  • ITIL Version 4 Foundation certification.
  • CompTIA A+ Certification.
  • Microsoft Windows 10 training and certification.
