Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic and technical leadership for bioinformatics, data analysis, and ML product development.
  • Design and develop novel analytical and computational tools for diagnostics.
  • Manage and mentor diverse teams.
  • Represent the department with clients, audits, vendors, and at conferences.
  • Analyse and present data and project updates to management teams and clients.

Requirements:

  • PhD or MSc in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or related field.
  • Strong background in Oncology, ideally liquid biopsy.
  • 5-10 years of post-study work experience.
  • Extensive experience managing teams of bioinformaticians.
  • Product development experience through to commercialization.
  • Scientific software engineering in a Unix/Linux environment.
  • Proficient programming skills, Python, R, etc.
