Director of Bioinformatics

Join TechBio Talent in our mission to revolutionize microbiome research by leading our data science operations as we navigate the clinical phase of development.

This is a leadership position that requires a strong track record in bioinformatics and genomics, with experience in cloud computing, infrastructure, and data storage. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to develop strategy long-term and support a team in continuing to develop cutting-edge advancements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead on the analysis of key omics datasets from clinical trials
  • Enhance our world-leading microbiome profiling platform through the use of functional analytics, machine learning, and transcriptomics
  • Develop and implement bioinformatics methods and pipelines

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in bioinformatics and genomics
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop strategy long-term
  • Experience in cloud computing, infrastructure, and data storage
