Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at EdEx - Education Recruitment. As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with children with a range of special needs, including Autism, Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children with special needs in a mainstream primary school setting
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons
  • Work with small groups of children to develop their social, emotional and academic skills
  • Provide individual support to children with complex needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individual education plans

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g. Education, Psychology, Special Education)
  • Experience working with children with special needs (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
