Mainstream Primary SEND Teaching Assistant

We are working with a fantastic Mainstream Primary School in Harlow, seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children and young adults.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant for SEND students, you will work closely with the teaching staff to provide individualized support and create a nurturing environment that promotes confidence, independence, and social skills. Your role will involve:

  • Supporting students with SEND in mainstream primary classes
  • Assisting with lesson planning and delivery to meet the needs of students with SEND
  • Managing behavior and developing communication skills with peers
  • Planning activities that cater to individual needs and abilities
  • Working collaboratively with the teaching team to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
Requirements
