Teaching Assistant for Key Stage 3 Students with Special Needs

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced KS3 SEND Tutor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Tutor, you will be responsible for providing tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualised lesson plans to suit the learning needs of each student
- Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Collaborate with school staff and special education coordinators to ensure student support and success
- Adhere to SEND guidelines and regulations in all tutoring sessions
- A valid teaching qualification in English and/or Maths
- Experience working with students with SEND in an educational setting
- Strong understanding of the Key Stage 3 curriculum
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching students with SEND
This role involves working closely with students with SEND in their homes. The tutor may need to travel to different school locations within the area.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please note that this is a temporary position, with the option to make it permanent at a later date.
