Key Responsibilities- Assist in weeding, pruning, and planting in the outdoor spaces
- Help maintain the garden's sections and rejuvenate the "secret garden" with a pond
- Knowledgeable about plants and confident using gardening equipment
- Punctual and reliable, with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
As a volunteer with SeeAbility, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities, while also developing your gardening skills and knowledge.
Our supported living service in Sittingbourne provides a welcoming and inclusive environment, with a passionate team dedicated to supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism.
We require a DBS check and two satisfactory references before a volunteer role is confirmed, as well as safeguarding training and any role-specific training.
