Position OverviewWe are seeking a Director of Technical Program Management to lead our Offering, Product, and Program Management team. This role involves close collaboration with development teams to create top-tier ion trap quantum computing hardware. Our objective is to transform the world through quantum computing by delivering comprehensive solutions to a diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership: Oversee a dedicated team of program managers focused on the development of next-generation quantum systems and components.
- Project Management: Engage directly in managing intricate projects and roadmaps to ensure successful execution.
- Organizational Growth: Expand the program management function through effective practices, processes, and enablement strategies.
- Strategic Development: Identify organizational needs and formulate strategies for key enablers and process enhancements to boost productivity.
- Execution Excellence: Drive the execution of complex development programs, ensuring timely completion while maintaining a sustainable workflow.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of learning by institutionalizing lessons learned and implementing ongoing enhancements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with technical and product leaders to develop and maintain technology roadmaps aligned with product objectives.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Over 10 years of experience in program management leadership within similar development environments.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen, permanent resident, or green card holder due to contractual obligations.
- Experience in product engineering and implementing effective engineering processes.
- Proven ability to recruit and develop exceptional talent.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on tailored solutions for unique business challenges.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills across all platforms.
