We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Prison Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Sanctuary Personnel Ltd. Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health care to patients in a prison setting. This is a full-time locum position, and the ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide mental health care to patients in a prison setting, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments to monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care, including progress notes and treatment plans.

Requirements

  • Relevant nursing qualification and an active NMC Registration (Mental Health).
  • Strong background in mental health nursing, with experience working in a prison setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
