Position Title: Management Accountant
Location: Hybrid Role
Reports To: Financial Controller

The Management Accountant is responsible for overseeing a designated portfolio of project entities while providing support to the Financial Controller. Key duties encompass leading the accounting finance team, managing invoicing processes, ensuring effective credit control, handling creditor payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Ensure adherence to contractual agreements and established procedures.
  • Compile and assess monthly management accounts along with balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Supervise payment processes, bank instructions, and annual operating budgets.
  • Develop treasury investment proposals and manage quarterly corporation tax obligations.
  • Oversee the statutory audit process and prepare preliminary annual statutory accounts.
  • Authorize sales invoices and conduct monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Maintain the corporate calendar and draft year-end corporation tax computations.
  • Prepare interim accounts, dividend distributions, and loan note certificates.
  • Assist Finance Managers in delivering financial information as per contractual obligations.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of the finance function, team dynamics, and systems.

Qualifications and Expertise
  • At least 1 year of post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in management and statutory accounting.
  • Background in compliance-oriented environments.
