Rate of Pay: £16 + Holiday pay per hour (Monday - Friday), £24.00 per hour (Weekends)

Hours of Work: Flexible, with a typical 37.5 hour week

The Role:

You will be working for a large University within their Catering, Bars and Dining operations. The operation is predominantly staffed by students of the University. As a Supervisor, you will lead student workers across multiple sites, providing a point of contact for advice and issues, as well as providing training to the student worker team to ensure excellent service continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise team members to ensure specifications are adhered to and high standards are maintained
  • Provide on-the-job and structured training, such as barrel changes and cleaning tasks
  • Adhere to the University food safety code of practice
  • Ensure excellent customer service is delivered by the team
  • Supervise the retail of alcohol in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Supervise the Bar and Dining Services
  • Supervise payment operations, including opening, operating, and closure of payment points, in line with financial procedures
