Director of Analytics

Lyst is seeking a seasoned analytics leader to spearhead our data-driven initiatives. As Director of Analytics, you will set the strategic direction for our analytics function, driving business growth through data insights and informed decision-making.

You will report to the VP of Data & Engineering and collaborate closely with the Director of Data Platform and XFN Directors. Our technology stack includes AWS, Snowflake, dbt, Looker, Python, and R.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a high-performing analytics team, fostering a culture of innovation and best practices.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive analytics strategy, aligning with company goals and objectives.
  • Provide expert guidance on experimentation, attribution, forecasting, and observability, driving business outcomes through data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to inform key initiatives and strategic decisions.
  • Partner with the Data Platform team to ensure high data quality and robust data governance.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a senior analytics role, preferably in e-commerce or technology sectors.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a track record of managing large, multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Expertise in data modeling, experimentation, attribution, forecasting, and observability.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience driving change through analytics and data initiatives.
