Job Title: Database and Insight Manager

We are seeking an experienced Database and Insight Manager to join our team at Leeds Hospitals Charity. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing our supporter data to inform our fundraising strategy and improve our supporter engagement.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have experience in managing and leading a team, manipulating and processing complex data sources, and analyzing supporter data to produce insightful reports and recommendations. You will work closely with our Supporter Care Manager and other teams to develop and implement data-driven strategies to improve supporter loyalty, retention, and engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and provide high-quality and insightful KPI reports, dashboards, and analysis for each area of the charity.
  • Inform and update the Head of Individual Giving and Director of Fundraising on response patterns, donor profiles, and trends within our database.
  • Work closely with the Supporter Care Manager/Supporter Care Team on projects and initiatives to improve supporter loyalty, retention, and engagement.
  • Lead on fundraising-wide data product development and take responsibility for data protection compliance/GDPR.
  • Document and set approaches to manage change and improvement of data capture processes across the teams.
Requirements
  • Experience in managing and leading a team.
  • Ability to manipulate and process complex data sources, analyzing supporter data.
  • Proven experience of gathering and analyzing data, extrapolating meaningful insights, and producing recommendations.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret results and draw conclusions and high-quality analysis.
  • Good knowledge of Excel, including formulae, pivot tables, and graphs.
