About the Role

Job Overview

As a dedicated Store Team Member, you will be the face of Home Bargains, delivering exceptional customer service with enthusiasm. Your role will involve assisting customers with product queries, ensuring prompt and friendly service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. You will also support your fellow team members in delivering excellence across the board, from putting out stock and maintaining cleanliness to handling cash transactions and ensuring products are available and presentable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support the sales team in achieving sales targets, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and promoting products effectively.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and tidy store environment, including restocking shelves, rotating stock, and ensuring the café and bakery areas are clean and well-presented.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve store goals, including participating in visual merchandising, maintaining stock levels, and supporting colleagues as needed.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must be available to work from September 30 to December 24, have a good understanding of customer service, and have experience in cash handling and working in a retail environment. You should also be able to demonstrate a hardworking, reliable, and professional attitude.
