About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling our client to live a full and active lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal and domestic care to our client, including assistance with daily living activities and mobility.
  • Support our client to participate in a wide range of activities, including gym sessions, boxing, and market stalls.
  • Assist with cat and dog care, including feeding and walking.
  • Accompany our client to appointments and engage in conversation to promote social interaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of client care and activities.
Requirements
  • Registered with Social Care Wales or working towards registration.
  • Recognised Health and Social Care qualification (NVQ Level 2 or Diploma) or equivalent.
  • Full driving licence and ability to drive our client's car.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • DBS check on the update service or willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check.
Desirable Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience of managing others and knowledge of staff rotas.
  • Current training in equality, diversity, and inclusion, health and safety, and other relevant areas.
Working Arrangements

Bank hours available, including day shifts, night shifts, and occasional Sunday cover. Hourly rates negotiable at interview.
