Position Overview

Sales Ledger Operations Manager

We are seeking a dedicated professional to take on the role of Sales Ledger Operations Manager within our Finance Division. In this capacity, you will lead a team of four Administrators, ensuring the efficient processing and reconciliation of sales transactions across all business sectors.

This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, requiring attendance at our office a minimum of two days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor the sales ledger processing team.
  • Oversee the workflows for processing and reconciliation, guaranteeing that all sales transactions are accurately handled by the Sales Ledger Team.
  • Conduct weekly imports of Bank Reconciliations.
  • Evaluate payment schedules regularly.
  • Monitor customer BACS refunds on a weekly basis.
  • Ensure timely preparation of reconciliations, reviewing them before distribution to stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements.
  • Address any escalated customer complaints.
  • Assist with external audit processes.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in supervising or managing a team in a comparable role.
  • AAT Level 4 qualification is preferred.
  • Familiarity with GDPR Regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to derive insights from diverse data sources and a strong understanding of technology.
  • Skills in prioritizing workflows effectively.
  • Adaptability to change.
