Reporting to the Store Manager, the Store Operations Leader will play a vital role in driving growth within our company-owned Buckley store. As a member of the 'Store Operations' team, you will ensure effective management during all operational hours of the store, supporting the Store Manager in leading and inspiring a team of staff. You will be part of the Store Manager's leadership team, ensuring top-notch customer service and contributing to achieving store sales and profitability through 'Brilliant Basics, Moments of Wow, Food For Later, Food For Now'.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting the Store Manager in maintaining a safe, legal, and high-performing store while taking overall responsibility during Store Operations Leader shiftsSupporting the Store Manager in achieving all store operations, objectives, and KPIsCoaching and mentoring team members, fostering a motivated and empowered workforce through a positive and engaging management approachManaging performance and attendance as necessaryOccasionally responsible for opening/closing the store, ensuring colleague safety and stock/cash security during shiftsConducting cash reconciliations, voids, refunds, and other management tasks for till staffLeading by example and guiding the team to collaborate in delivering an exceptional customer experience, distinguishing us from competitorsWorking alongside colleagues to promote the store by identifying and acting on opportunities to engage with and support the local communityAdhering to all company policies, procedures, and processes

Required Skills for Store Operations Leader:

Previous management or supervisory experience in a food retail or similar fast-paced environmentDedicated to achieving and maintaining exceptional customer service standardsAble to effectively plan, organize, and prioritize tasksStrong communication and influencing skills at all levelsCapable of making informed decisions and taking appropriate actionsCommitted to fostering collaborative teamworkEnthusiastic and adaptable with a positive outlookDedicated to personal development and applying learning to enhance performance
