About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Trainer to join our team at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Recovery College, you will play a vital role in designing and delivering recovery education programs that promote clinical excellence and student engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver recovery and self-management related training programs
  • Work with peers and clinical staff to develop new courses and recovery materials
  • Develop and maintain the Recovery College curriculum, ensuring it remains contemporary and relevant
  • Support the facilitation of student support plans and provide clinical knowledge and experience to students and staff
  • Manage, lead, and supervise college staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Represent the Recovery College across the organization and externally, promoting our mission and values

Requirements
  • A professional health and/or social care qualification
  • Teaching qualification or equivalent experience, or active mentor/supervisor qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years post-registration experience in health, mental health, or educational sector
  • Ability to evidence working in a recovery-oriented way
  • Experience of line managing staff, including dealing with appraisals and human resource issues
  • Experience of leading an initiative and developing action plans
