About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a proven track record in supply chain management to lead our team of Procurement, Materials, and Warehouse personnel. As Head of Supply Chain, you will be responsible for developing and executing category and procurement strategies with key external suppliers, fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders, and enhancing MRP data management and SOPs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Procurement, Materials, and Warehouse personnel.
  • Develop and execute category and procurement strategies with key external suppliers.
  • Foster strong relationships with key internal stakeholders.
  • Enhance MRP data management and establish robust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Measure and sustain key KPIs for the Supply Chain department.

Requirements

  • Experience operating within a Supply Chain Management position, ideally within the Rail industry but other industries are equally received.
  • Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong negotiation and strategic planning abilities.
  • Understanding of the traction and rolling stock market is desirable.
