Senior Site Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead our flagship traditional build housing scheme in Littleport, Cambridgeshire. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing high-volume construction sites and experience with NHBC PIJ.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the site team, reporting to the Contract Manager
  • Oversee the construction process from groundworks to handovers
  • Ensure the development is completed in accordance with specification and the build programme
  • Manage sub-subcontractor relationships and chair meetings
  • Monitor and control quality, health and safety, and snagging
  • Provide regular progress reports and manage additional costs
  • Drive quality and ensure the development passes internal and external inspection processes
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on traditional build schemes
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced busy site and train staff
  • New build, residential experience and CSCS Black certification
  • First Aid and Scaffold awareness
