About the Role

Capsticks Solicitors LLP is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious solicitor to join our Advisory team. As a Senior Associate, Litigation Specialist, you will work closely with our experienced senior colleagues to advise clients on a wide range of healthcare law issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on litigation matters, including Court of Protection, judicial review, and mental health tribunal cases
  • Work on mental health and mental capacity law, including Deprivation of Liberty cases
  • Assist with inquests, including case preparation and advocacy
  • Provide advice on public law, governance, and patient safety investigations
  • Support clients on CQC and related healthcare regulation matters
  • Contribute to the development of our healthcare law practice

Requirements

  • Experience as an advisory solicitor in a leading healthcare law practice
  • Demonstrable experience in healthcare law, including litigation and mental health matters
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
