Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to join our finance team at Sheridan Maine South. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, reconciling statements, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Invoice Processing: Accurately process and verify supplier invoices, ensuring timely payment and maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Statement Reconciliation: Reconcile supplier statements, identify and resolve any discrepancies, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including month-end closing activities, and provide support to the finance team as needed.
  • Supplier Management: Maintain and update supplier accounts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to suppliers and internal stakeholders, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience in an accounts payable role or similar, with a strong understanding of financial transactions and procedures.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Knowledge of accounting software is desirable.
