About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Delivery Manager to join our team at Farsight Consulting. As a key member of our delivery team, you will play a critical role in guiding teams to successful project outcomes and shaping the growing delivery management community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply agile knowledge to support delivery in a team, including facilitation of agile ceremonies.
  • Support the team to align their work to priorities and the roadmap, holding people to account for deliverables and identifying and working to mitigate risks and issues.
  • Build relationships with clients and stakeholders, developing understanding of their needs and challenges.
  • Promote ways of working in your team, identifying and implementing improvements.
  • Contribute to the Farsight delivery management community of practice, sharing experiences and learning.
Requirements
  • Agile expertise, including knowledge and awareness of agile tools and techniques, such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Building and managing relationships, with strong emotional intelligence and ability to recognize the different needs of team members and clients.
  • Communication skills, including strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Planning and project execution, including ability to collaborate with clients and team to bring together a plan for delivery.
  • Leadership skills, including understanding of different leadership styles and techniques.
  • Commercial acumen, including ability to support management of a project budget.
  • Adaptability, including flexibility in approach and willingness to learn new skills and approaches.
Nice to Have
  • Experience of government digital service assessments.
  • Experience in another discipline, such as product management, service design, or development.
