Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Business Partner to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills, able to effectively partner with business leaders to deliver HR solutions that support our business objectives. This role will play a key part in driving our people strategy, enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring we attract, retain, and develop top talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance and support to business leaders on HR-related matters, ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities across HR, leading and/or contributing to HR or business initiatives and projects as required.
  • Identify HR priorities from business and people plans, translate business requirements into effective HR practices, and deliver people solutions aligned to business objectives to enhance talent, succession planning, retention of key employees, and building a diverse workforce and talent pipeline.
  • Facilitate key HR processes through coaching for senior managers in the development of their people management skills, improving their execution of the process and guidance of their own teams.
  • Provide coaching to senior leaders across the business to enhance leadership capabilities and corresponding employee engagement, ensuring best HR practice is applied at all times.
  • Responsible for the effective day-to-day delivery of the employee lifecycle, working closely with the Lead HRBP and relevant specialists in the wider HR team, ensuring adherence to ENGIE UK policies and procedures and HR best practice.
  • Manage complex ER issues through to successful conclusion in line with best practice and compliance with UK employment law.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HR professional with a track record of handling ER cases.
  • Track record of delivering results, such as developing and implementing new approaches to policy and process or implementing fresh approaches to organisational problems.
  • Working knowledge of UK and Irish Employment Law.
  • Qualified to a degree level or equivalent with generalist HR experience.
  • CIPD qualified or part qualified, or equivalent experience.
