Job Title: Experienced Children's Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Children's Support Worker to join our team at Brook Street Social Care NMR. As a Children's Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering support to children and young people, meeting their personal needs and plans, and providing emotional support and companionship.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver support to children and young people, meeting their personal needs and plans
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to children and young people
  • Work 1:1 with children and young people, with the support of other staff members when needed
  • Support families and provide additional support when required
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • 6 months UK based care experience in the last year OR a year in the last 5 years
  • Right to work in the UK (we do not offer sponsorship)
  • Willing to undergo DBS and reference checks
  • Willing to undertake personal care
  • Approachable, friendly, proactive, and engaging with service users
  • Great communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • Registered with Social Care Wales
