About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Building Control, with experience in managing a team of professionals and delivering high-quality services to clients. You will be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing the Building Control team to ensure effective service delivery
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve service efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, including the Building Safety Act 2022
  • Providing guidance and direction to team members to support their professional development
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in Building Control, with experience in managing a team of professionals
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong technical knowledge of Building Control, including the Building Act and Building Regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • A degree in Building Control, Building Surveying, Construction, or a related field
