Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Heathfield Community College. The successful candidate will work closely with the Learning Support department to deliver high-quality care to students with special educational needs, including autism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with special educational needs in mainstream curriculum
  • Work collaboratively with the Learning Support department to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Provide emotional and academic support to students, promoting their social, emotional, and academic well-being
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Enthusiasm and motivation to work with students with special educational needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
