We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our Early Years team at Cross in Hand School. Key Responsibilities:
  • Support children with additional needs in a one-to-one setting, assessing and monitoring their progress, and providing feedback and encouragement to help them succeed.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans, ensuring children receive the support they need to reach their full potential.
  • Assist with classroom activities, supporting children to participate in lessons and activities, and helping to facilitate inclusion and integration.
  • Attend meetings with parents, other professionals, and lead members of staff to discuss children's progress and develop strategies to support their needs.
  • Contribute to the sharing of good practice, ensuring that all children have access to the full curriculum and can participate fully in school life.
Requirements:
  • Good communication and behavior management skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, teachers, and other support staff.
  • Experience of working with children with additional needs, preferably in an Early Years setting.
  • Enthusiasm, patience, and a commitment to supporting children to reach their full potential.
  • Ability to work flexibly as part of a team, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
