Role Overview

As a Treasury Client Services Coordinator, you will be part of a team comprising over 30 accounting professionals (with a composition of 65% Accountants and 35% Accounts Administrators) dedicated to servicing a diverse portfolio of over 200 clients. While you will collaborate within a team environment, you will manage your own client portfolio and report to the department head through a Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will undertake the following responsibilities:

  • Deliver Accounts Administration services to clients in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Manage, maintain, and reconcile client accounting records effectively.
  • Utilize computerized accounting systems while ensuring data integrity and proper filing and record-keeping.
  • Process a variety of routine and non-routine payment transactions accurately within established procedures.
  • Engage in internet banking for information retrieval and execute electronic payments in both local and foreign currencies.
  • Prepare cheque and credit transfer disbursements and facilitate payments.
  • Address customer inquiries (both verbal and written) utilizing a strong understanding of customer needs.
  • Draft non-standard correspondence in response to customer inquiries.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and maintain banking records.
  • Generate periodic reports on reconciliation outcomes.
  • Input customer information and access relevant customer data.
  • Compile and analyze data to create routine reports, schedules, and summaries for updating customer records and resolving queries.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to fellow team members.

Required Skills, Attributes, and Behaviors:

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English with a Grade B or higher.
  • Accounting or Accounts Administration qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • A quick learner and effective team player.
  • Ability to cultivate professional relationships.
  • Competence in adhering to established processes and procedures.
  • Experience with computerized accounting systems.
  • Basic understanding of financial regulations, particularly concerning pensions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in an Accounts or Administration setting.
  • Experience in managing external client relationships while adhering to SLAs.
