Astute People is collaborating with a prominent provider of intricate Engineering Solutions and services tailored for the nuclear energy, industrial, and petrochemical sectors, to recruit a Lead Integrity Assurance Engineer.


This newly established role will focus on the evaluation of industrial facilities to monitor asset degradation and corrosion, while fostering strong relationships with clients.

This position offers a competitive salary of up to £56,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Lead Integrity Assurance Engineer, you will report directly to the Integrity Manager and be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of industrial plant components, including pipework, vessels, tanks, and supporting structures.
  • Performing inspections and providing recommendations while collaborating with Technical Authorities to devise solutions and propose enhancements for known degradation challenges.
  • Reviewing proposals for remedial actions and advising on corrosion management in line with industry best practices.
  • Developing and refining inspection protocols.
  • Creating resource plans for inspection activities based on project schedules and scope requirements.

Professional Qualifications:
We are seeking candidates who possess:

  • Qualifications in plant inspection, such as Level 2 or 3 CSWIP Plant Inspector.

Personal Attributes:
The ideal candidate for the Lead Integrity Assurance Engineer position will have:

  • Extensive experience in inspection and integrity management.
  • A self-motivated approach with the ability to manage workload independently.
  • A desire for broader team leadership and capability development within a large, multifaceted organization.
  • Experience in highly regulated sectors, such as Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, Nuclear, Chemical Production, or Aerospace.

Compensation and Benefits:
This role offers a base salary of up to £56,000 per annum.
