The Role: Support Worker at Redbourne Centre

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team at Redbourne Centre, a specialist care home providing a nurturing environment for men aged 18+ with mild to moderate intellectual disability, mental health disorders, and complex needs.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized support to residents, assisting them with daily living activities, promoting independence, and fostering their well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of professionals to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Create a positive and supportive atmosphere within the home, encouraging social interaction and engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided, ensuring clear communication and documentation.
  • Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures, upholding the highest standards of care and safety.

Qualifications:

  • Level 2 Health and Social Care (desirable)
  • Experience in a care setting (desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working with young people and/or adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health problems
