**Job Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Ferndene Care Home in Gainsborough. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide person-centred care and support to residents with all aspects of daily living
  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Support residents with meal times, including serving and assisting with eating
  • Encourage residents to participate in activities and engage in social interactions
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident's condition or behaviour
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care

**Requirements**

  • Previous experience as a Care Assistant is not essential, but a willingness to learn and develop skills is essential
  • Ability to work on a rota basis, including alternate weekends and some bank holidays
  • DBS clearance and satisfactory references
