Job Overview

The role of Business Development Executive is responsible for converting prospects into members via a solution sales approach. This involves agreeing which targets to prioritise with line manager and where and who to promote the benefits of the respective organisations' services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Following up on campaigns to convert leads into membership
  • Desk-based research as required
  • Working collaboratively with other colleagues across the organisation
  • Qualifying prospects and championing benefits and value propositions
  • Cross-selling where the opportunity arises
  • Recording all activity within the CRM system

Person Specification

Requirements

  • Highly organised self-starter, motivated, and confident in their approach
  • Effective communicator both verbally and written
  • Pro-active approach and uses own initiative
  • Experience within a professional body or association is desirable but not essential
  • Some experience in sales or business development would be advantageous
