Job Overview
The role of Business Development Executive is responsible for converting prospects into members via a solution sales approach. This involves agreeing which targets to prioritise with line manager and where and who to promote the benefits of the respective organisations' services.
Key Responsibilities
- Following up on campaigns to convert leads into membership
- Desk-based research as required
- Working collaboratively with other colleagues across the organisation
- Qualifying prospects and championing benefits and value propositions
- Cross-selling where the opportunity arises
- Recording all activity within the CRM system
Person Specification
Requirements
- Highly organised self-starter, motivated, and confident in their approach
- Effective communicator both verbally and written
- Pro-active approach and uses own initiative
- Experience within a professional body or association is desirable but not essential
- Some experience in sales or business development would be advantageous
