About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our team as our new Head of Business Development. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our business development efforts and drive growth in line with our charitable aims and strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business growth strategies to increase our income and expand our services
  • Build and maintain relationships with commissioners and partners to ensure a solid understanding of the long-term strategic landscape in social care
  • Lead the Contracts & Commissioning Team to ensure we meet our contractual obligations and tender effectively for new and existing contracts
  • Oversee the Practice Development Team to ensure we continually develop our practice and provide expert care and support that meets current and future demand
About You

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled professional with significant operational leadership experience within the social care sector. You will have a proven track record of successfully developing new business opportunities within publicly commissioned services and a solid understanding of Scottish social care commissioning policies and practices.

You will be a strategic and future-oriented thinker with the ability to work cross-functionally and make decisions that drive business growth. You will also have strong problem-solving, analysis, situational judgement, and decision-making skills.
