About the RoleVentnor Medical Practice is seeking a Patient Advisor to work directly with the Practice Service Lead in a collaborative team environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Liaising with multi-disciplinary team members and external agencies to ensure seamless patient care.
- Processing personal, telephone, and e-requests for appointments.
- Answering incoming phone calls and transferring calls or dealing with callers' requests appropriately.
- Inputting data into patients' healthcare records as necessary.
Requirements:
- GCSE Mathematics and English (C or above)
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
- Clear, polite telephone manner
- Competent in the use of Office and Outlook
- Effective time management (planning and organizing)
- Ability to follow policy and procedure
Personal Qualities:
- Flexible and cooperative
