At Welland House, our mission is to empower families by providing practical guidance, emotional support, and opportunities for growth. We work closely with parents and children to address individual needs and build a brighter future.
The Role: Residential Support Worker
As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and supportive environment for the families residing at Welland House. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing daily care and support to children and families.
- Facilitating activities and programs designed to promote well-being and development.
- Assisting with household tasks and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
- Working collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the centre.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals who possess:
- A genuine passion for working with families in need.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Experience in providing support to children and families (desirable).
- Relevant qualifications or training (desirable).
