About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Commercial Bid and Marketing Assistant to join our team at RSK Group. As a key member of our sales and marketing teams, you will play a crucial role in supporting the preparation and coordination of bid documents, ensuring that our proposals meet the required standards and are submitted on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bid Support:
    • Coordinate and prepare bid documents, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Assist in the development of bid pricing and ensure that bids meet the company's profit and cash flow requirements.
    • Quality check bids to assess their chances of success.
  • Marketing Support:
    • Assist in organizing and implementing online and in-person events, including speaking opportunities.
    • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure team engagement and maximize marketing opportunities.
    • Support the marketing manager in promoting the company brand and identifying opportunities to increase the online and offline profile of the business.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide administrative support to the sales and marketing teams, including data entry, document management, and other tasks as required.
Requirements
  • A good understanding of the agricultural and environmental sectors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive and creative approach to problem-solving.
  • High attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office packages, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
