Active Personnel Recruitment LTD is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our client, a leading turnkey engineering firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and coordinate site activities, including tooling, paperwork, and site contact.
- Report lateness and sick reporting to the Project Manager.
- Lead inductions and tool box talks to site staff and accompany visitors around the site.
- Ensure all contractors have been supplied with permits to work on site.
- Provide a link between project managers/engineers and planning to ensure relevant site teams are aware of their workload.
- Work away from home at times.
- Provide feedback on site operative efficiencies and site-specific health and safety issues, including any training requirements.
- Lead site-based activities, including client liaison, updating the Project Manager on daily progress, and informing of any site issues that arise.
- Work with the Project Manager on design input as required.
- Implement the Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality Policy and procedures in all operations and activities under their control, focusing on excellence in all work areas using best practices to achieve the company's goals.
- Specific skill-based qualification to level 3 or above, or 10 years field-based experience within a specific skill-based role.
- Additional field-based skill qualifications, such as PASMA or MEWP training.
- Crane operations training (either Slinger/Signaller or Lift Supervisor to CPCS standard).
- Health and Safety First Aid (3-day) and SMSTS (CITB).
- Confined Space Trained.
- Level 3 Leadership Training (or working towards).
- CSCS Supervisors card.
- Salary - to be negotiated depending on experience.
- Contract type - Permanent.
