Are you ready to be a part of a dynamic installation team working on diverse sites across the nation? Recruit 2 You is seeking motivated individuals to join our client’s installation team, contributing to the delivery of exceptional bespoke equipment. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our equipment is installed to the highest standards across a range of sites, including Hospitals, Schools of Anatomy, and Funeral Directors.
**Role Overview**:
As a key member of our installation team, you will work closely with a small group of dedicated professionals to install specialised equipment. Your role will be supporting the installation of stainless-steel equipment to intricate electrical and mechanical systems. The role involves manual lifting and offers a diverse range of tasks, including plumbing, mechanical assembly, electrical work, and problem-solving to tailor installations to each site's unique requirements.
**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate closely with fellow installation team members and sub-contractors to ensure smooth and efficient installations.
- Plan and coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements in accordance with company policies.
- Execute tasks as directed by on-site supervisors, line managers, and Project Managers.
- Adhere to Risk and Method Statements, actively promoting a culture of Health & Safety.
- Complete mandatory site inductions to ensure compliance and safety.
- Uphold and follow company policies to ensure seamless operations.
- Focus on delivering installations efficiently, upholding our unwavering quality standards.
**Requirements**:
- While not mandatory, prior experience working with stainless steel equipment, along with familiarity with construction sites and M&E services (ventilation, water, waste, electrics), would be highly advantageous. Joinery skills or experience can also provide a strong foundation for excelling in our installations.
- Proficiency in using a range of hand tools with a strong emphasis on safety and practical awareness of site regulations.
- Ability to interpret and comprehend layout and CAD drawings related to shop floor plans.
- Develop a comprehensive technical understanding of company products.
- Strong communication skills and professional appearance, given the potential for client interactions.
- While working alongside a supervisor is typical, being proactive and resourceful while working independently is essential.
**What you can achieve**:
- Starting salary of £25,000, inclusive of hours worked within a 39-hour Monday-Friday schedule.
