Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Mentor to join our team at a primary school in Lambeth. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with challenging behaviour, helping them to develop positive relationships with their peers and teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group support to students with challenging behaviour
- Develop and implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure consistent behaviour management
- Monitor and record student progress, identifying areas for improvement
- Collaborate with parents and carers to develop strategies to support students at home
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS registered on the update service
- Experience working with students with challenging behaviour
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability
