Fruition IT is seeking a Program Management Office Lead for a prominent organization in Leeds that is undergoing a significant transformation initiative.

This position offers a unique chance to establish and refine a PMO function within a rapidly expanding technology organization. In addition to developing the PMO framework, you will oversee a substantial portfolio and drive change across both technology and business operations.
In the realm of technology, stagnation is not an option. The organization is currently engaged in a £25 million, four-year transformation project aimed at enhancing service delivery and providing an exceptional online experience for its clientele.
They are committed to investing in both personnel and technology, continually seeking innovative tools and methodologies to remain agile. Notably, they have increased their training investment per employee by 45%.
Key Responsibilities
- Advocating for the PMO's services and demonstrating its value to program teams, ensuring it is recognized as a strategic asset.
- Formulating the strategic plan for the PMO.
- Representing the PMO in steering committee discussions.
- Collaborating with program managers to gather regular updates and project progress for reporting purposes.
- Creating, monitoring, analyzing, and disseminating program and financial reports.
- Conducting health assessments on programs within the transformation portfolio.
- Providing program control support, including planning and monitoring, quality assurance, change management, risk and issue management, cost oversight, third-party management, and program reporting.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in managing a PMO function and overseeing a portfolio of programs.
- Proven leadership experience with a team of PMO Analysts.
- Ability to shape and establish a PMO function, including the development of processes.
- Strong knowledge of PMO best practices and project management methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- Solid understanding of program governance frameworks.
