Business Operations Assistant

Job Summary
The Business Support Assistant will provide professional clerical support to health and social care operational teams, ensuring the smooth operation of the teams by delivering support in a friendly and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a positive, professional image for the whole function and act as the first point of contact for patients and visitors/callers to the Service.
- Ensure that all enquiries are dealt with promptly and efficiently, maintaining confidentiality at all times and adhering to all organisational policies and procedures.
- Work flexibly to cover staff absences and periods of particular pressure.
- Complete a basic Disclosure Scotland application and provide satisfactory clearance before a formal offer of employment is made.
- Provide details of a minimum of two appropriate and relevant references, one of which should be from your current or most recent employer.
Requirements
The successful applicant will require the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and organisational skills.
