About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Business Development Executive to join our team at Casio Electronics Co. Limited. As a key member of our sales function, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer satisfaction and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Management
    • Manage a portfolio of existing customers, handle incoming queries, complete orders, and serve as the initial point of contact for new customers.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Data Analysis
    • Analyse and understand various sources of data to identify new business opportunities, extract and recognize potential sales leads, and identify chances of sales growth.
    • Define and convert a pipeline of opportunities and achieve sales growth targets and KPIs.
  • Support to National Account Managers
    • Provide proactive support to National Account Managers, Senior Planning Manager & Sales Manager, including event bookings, mailouts, competitive market reports, and loan set management.
  • Field and Response
    • Field, respond, and prioritize inquiries generated from our direct ecommerce platforms.
  • Internal Stakeholder Engagement
    • Act as the bridge between Divisional Sales and Sales Operations, ensuring effective communication and efficient order fulfillment to achieve our goals.
  • Industry Trends and Product Knowledge
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new product features to maintain a competitive advantage and promote ongoing improvement.
    • Provide regular reports to Senior Management that offer insights, updates on progress, and recommendations for the future.
  • Brand Promotion
    • Effectively promote Casio brands in both virtual and physical settings.
    • Support the delivery of trade events, including attending them as necessary.
    Requirements
    • Essential: Minimum 2 years sales/account experience.
    • Essential: Excellent initiative, drive, and focus. This role requires a varied and rewarding work environment for the right person who really wants to engage with customers every day.
    • Essential: Demonstrable experience of excellent analytical skills as you will be required to provide general sales analysis and reporting to track targets and historical data. Highly beneficial if previously experienced with database maintenance.
    • Desirable: Sales experience within consumer durable goods, stationery, or medical.
    • Desirable: Possess a full, clean driving license for the UK as may be required to do customer visits within portfolio as well as attend trade shows.
    • Desirable: Excellent problem-solving abilities and able to work effectively under pressure.
    • Desirable: Continuous Improvement mindset with ability to identify gaps in processes and procedures and suggest efficiencies.
    • Desirable: Competent in using Office 365, in particular a high proficiency in using Excel and PowerPoint. Prior experience with CRM tools or dashboards is highly desirable, such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or PowerBI.
