The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales Coordinator to join our sales team. As a Sales Coordinator, you will play an essential part in managing customer relationships and contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the sales department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Support: Provide exceptional support to customers via phone, email, and in-person interactions while addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sales Quotations and Contracts: Assist in the preparation of sales quotations and contracts, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Customer Records and Sales Databases: Maintain and update customer records and sales databases, ensuring all information is accurately recorded and easily accessible.
  • Market Research: Conduct research on potential clients and market trends to support the sales team's efforts in identifying new business opportunities.
  • Sales Strategies: Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies, providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the sales department.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on sales activities, customer feedback, and customer reports. Assist in the analysis of sales data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance sales skills and knowledge of the plant hire industry.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Experience in administration and/or sales within the plant hire and/or construction industry.
  • Customer Service: Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to building long-term relationships.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience in using a CRM system.
  • Driving License: Full UK driving license.
