About the Role

Our Property Team is seeking an experienced Underwriter to join our team and contribute to the growth of our business. As an Underwriter, you will be responsible for underwriting property risks for existing and new clients, analyzing business opportunities, and establishing and maintaining relationships with brokers and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Underwrite property risks for existing and new clients, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and underwriting parameters.
  • Analyze business opportunities using underwriting judgment and tools, identifying potential risks and opportunities for growth.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with brokers and clients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring accurate and reliable financial reporting.
  • Ensure accuracy and reliability of financial reporting, maintaining high levels of productivity and delivering results in a goal-oriented manner.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Underwriter who can join our team and contribute to our success. To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong communication, negotiation, and partnering skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple deals in parallel without losing oversight.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in property underwriting, including lead capacity.
  • Good numeracy skills and proficiency in PC and software skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple deals in parallel without losing oversight.
  • High level of productivity and willingness to deliver results.
