About the Role

Binnies, an RSK Group Company, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our @one Alliance team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and driven Electrical Engineer to provide technical input to projects in the Anglian Water region.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Deliverables
  • Develop and deliver technical schedules, data sheets, and engineering calculations, including hydraulic calculations, pump calculations, mass balance calculations, and RICS calculations.
  • Prepare specifications for engineering subcontracts.
  • Perform technical bid analysis of designs from the supply chain.
Electrical Engineering Design
  • Design electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment plants.
  • Develop control, monitoring, and telemetry systems.
  • Design instrumentation systems.
  • Create designs for main incoming electrical supply systems and electrical installation systems, including hazardous areas.
Health & Safety Excellence
  • Support the Electrical Discipline Head in promoting excellence in health and safety.
  • Demonstrate applied knowledge and skills to produce safe designs in accordance with CDM Regulations, standards, and accepted codes of practice.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Solid and strong experience in a project engineering environment.
  • A degree (or similar qualification) in a relevant Engineering discipline.
  • Strong electrical engineering design experience, preferably in water and wastewater treatment plants.
  • Familiarity with DM Regulations, standards, and accepted codes of practice.
